CampbellReith has over 40 years’ experience of overseas work throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The practice has established links with local consulting engineering practices as required to successfully undertake overseas commissions.
CampbellReith has a strong culture of working with local staff and firms: the practice cares about the communities where it works. Where possible, the practice employs local people and buys from local suppliers. CampbellReith, for all its projects, complies with its Anti-Bribery and Corruption policy, which incorporates the requirements of the UK Governments Bribery and Corruption Act 2010.
The practice recognises the vital importance of developing local skills and maintaining fair and honest business approach irrespective of the geography of the projects.
In line with these principles, CampbellReith has provided in-house training to staff from its partner organisations in Sierra Leone, Zambia and Ghana.
CampbellReith is a founding member of MERGE (Multidisciplinary Engineering Resources Group Europe), a European network of established consulting engineers.
This network of associated firms was set up in 1990 to enable CampbellReith to service UK and overseas clients pursuing development projects in European countries.
A responsible attitude towards the environment is central to the development of the practice’s engineering solutions. CampbellReith ensures that appropriate consideration is given to the environmental and socio-economic impact of each project.
