New partner designate at CampbellReith’s Bristol office

10 February 2015

CampbellReith’s Bristol office welcomed a new staff member: Jamie Siggers, Partner Designate.

Jamie is a Chartered Civil and Structural Engineer with almost 18 years in the construction industry. He brings a unique mix of skills, with experience in every stage and method of procurement.

Jamie has a keen interest in heritage conservation: he has been involved in a number of challenging projects and recently completed a week-long “Repair of Old Buildings” course at the Society for the Protection of Ancient Building.

Previously Director of the Forum for the Built Environment for four years, Jamie is a local branch committee member of the organisation. He is also a committee member with the Constructing Excellence Bristol Club. In these roles, he has been working to encourage better cross-discipline engagement and sharing of best practice in the industry.

Through his work as Director of Ambition Lawrence Weston and of Bristol Green Doors, among other objectives, Jamie tries to demonstrate the depth of contribution and value of engineering to the society.

After a disastrous few years attempting to play golf, Jamie now keeps his leisure pursuits to the water, chiefly sailing and surfing, when he is not exploring the delights of Cornwall and Suffolk with his wife and daughter.

‘I have been incredibly excited to join a really strong and well-established structural engineering team in CampbellReith’s Bristol office and to work with an outstanding Partnership with great ambitions and values aligned with my own ideals.’ he says.
