CampbellReith Partner, Jamie Siggers, has returned to the UK following the 36th Annual MERGE conference in Paris.
MERGE is a European network of independent leading civil, structural and building services consulting engineer companies offering collaboration to our customers across Europe.
Reflecting on the conference, Jamie said:
“I thoroughly enjoyed the Merge conference this year, with the opportunity to travel in a more sustainable manner using trains instead of flying. Paris was outstanding and our visit this year included a tour of the Notre Dame towers, re-opened to public only the previous Monday.
The conference itself included a focus on Fire Engineering requirements across Europe and an interesting section on the challenges and opportunities of AI along with our usual updates and discussions of each country and organisation.
As always it is a great opportunity to reconnect with friends and share knowledge and potential collaborations.
On this occasion we sadly had to say goodbye to CampbellReith colleague Mike Allen and his wife Alison and also to our friends from Solwers PLC, Stefan and Mikaela Nystrom as they hand the representing duties passing on to others.”
Special thanks go to our hosts at Terrell Group including John Hanlon, Ziad Dargham and especially Tanya Wheeler.
Great as always to connect with network Partners.
