William Shaw

Will graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2005. He joined CampbellReith in 2006 and become a chartered engineer in 2010. Will has worked on both new build and refurbishment projects across a range of sectors including residential, commercial, education, industrial, hotels and student accommodation.

Will enjoys the variety of working on different scales of projects and the differing challenges they offer, from multi-phase redevelopments of large sites down to smaller projects for private clients.

A particular highlight was when Will managed the design of an architecturally expressed steel frame for a new energy facility on Jersey. Thanks to the attention to detail given the scale, the Energy from Waste Jersey project received a commendation at the annual Structural Steel Design Awards.

Outside of work, Will enjoys travel and keeping fit. He is a keen cyclist, a hobby which has led him to competing in a number of Triathlons.
