Meet the team

Steve Ash

Associate

I left school at 16 to start work as a trainee draughtsman and developed my skills while working for a number of consulting engineers in London and Cambridge. In my early 20s, I decided to jump from drawing to design engineering whilst working for a small family-run consultancy. Here, I was fortunate enough to be deeply involved in projects, and I quickly learned to deal with complex situations while developing excellent management skills.

Since joining CampbellReith in 1999, I have been actively involved in a number of multidisciplinary projects, both large and small. I am extremely proud of all of the projects that I have worked on. These include Royal Mail’s automated distribution centre, the Futures Community College and the £14M flagship college in Southend, Essex. More recently, I’ve worked on exciting residential projects, such as the North West Village at Wembley.

Outside of engineering

I have a young spirit, and I like to travel in my time off work.
