Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join our London office and begin their career in ground engineering. You will work alongside experienced engineers on a wide range of projects, gaining hands on experience and responsibility as your skills develop.
Your role will include:
- Assisting with the design and management of ground investigations
- Preparation of ground models and geotechnical risk assessments
- Geotechnical design and analysis, including foundations, earthworks, retaining walls and slopes
- Use of industry standard geotechnical software
- Preparation and review of Ground Movement Assessments
- Review of specialist contractor submissions
- Site supervision and liaison with clients and project teams
- Providing geotechnical advice to colleagues and external stakeholders
Our projects span a broad range of sectors across the UK, including healthcare and education, affordable housing, brownfield regeneration, specialist geotechnical design, and complex city centre developments.

Key skills
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree in civil engineering, engineering geology or an MSc in a ground engineering discipline. Structural engineering and geology degrees with a strong focus on geotechnical engineering will also be considered.
- Strong written communication and report writing skills.
- An aptitude for the use of geotechnical software.
- A UK driving licence.
