A group of structural engineers led by our partner Peter Butler were delighted to join Sisk, Quintain, PRP Architects, and others on the 16th November for the topping out event for Canada Gardens Plot E03 project. The event was held at the top of Block G, the highest point to date at Wembley Park.
Plot E03 is the largest plot at Wembley Park. It comprises seven multi-storey residential buildings up to 25 storeys providing 743 apartments. The buildings are arranged around a large central podium garden at the first floor level. Below the podium level are commercial units, an energy centre providing heat and power for much of Wembley Park and an 80 space Coach Park for use on event days at the stadium.
Our civil and structural engineering team have been working closely with the client, the main contractor, and other consultants to ensure a cost effective and buildable solution. The project will be well on course for completion by 2020.
The topping out event of Plot E03 has marked another milestone in CampbellReith’s many years of working with Sisk and Quintain on this fast changing area of London. Our previous project in Wembley Park is Plot NW01, which was successfully delivered in 2015.
