CampbellReith has been shortlisted for the Ground Engineering ‘Geoenvironmental Project of the Year’ Award for the geotechnical and remedial design works at phase 2.1 of the Kilnwood Vale site in Crawley.

The project involved a major redevelopment by Crest Strategic Projects, which is providing 2,500 homes, infrastructure, leisure and care provisions across a 132 hectare site, approximately 60 hectares of which comprise a former landfill site.

“This project involved the full remedial design of the area landfill and illustrates the strength and depth of CampbellReith’s multidisciplinary capabilities across our geotechnical, land quality, civil engineering and GIS disciplines. We are delighted to have been shortlisted,” James Clay, Partner at CampbellReith.

The shortlist nomination follows the recent receipt of the Geoenvironmental Engineer of the Year Award last year and current ‘Rising Star’ award nomination.
