CampbellReith Is Working With Redrow Homes to Deliver New Homes For Daresbury, Cheshire

20 August 2020

Daresbury Garden Village, Daresbury

CampbellReith has been recently appointed by Redrow Homes to provide civils and infrastructure design for an exciting new residential development at Delph Lane in Daresbury.

At this stage, the development proposal includes the detailed design for the drainage and all infrastructure to support 108 dwellings, with the potential for further land development for up to 1,000 units.

The site is extremely challenging due to its current topography, with the varying levels across the site reaching up to 30m. Last year CampbellReith undertook the preliminary external design and earthworks modelling for the feasibility and viability of the scheme. This exercise proved there will be a requirement for number of retaining structures to be installed across the site.

Our role is to secure this complex and steep site with the provision of an appropriate drainage solution and on-site storage for the post-development surface waterflows. The drainage scope also includes detailed design of the pump station and associated 1.1km rising main, pumping the foul water flows approx. 46m uphill to the nearest public foul water sewer, and the diversion of the local watercourse to allow accommodation of the proposed masterplan.

We are delighted to be part of the Redrow team to make this new development possible.
