I am a civil engineer with experience across both the UK and South Africa, having worked in a variety of engineering practices that have given me a broad understanding of civil and structural engineering techniques. I began my career as an electrical and mechanical draughtsperson, which provided a strong technical foundation and an appreciation for the other disciplines and people that contribute to successful engineering projects. While studying for my degree part-time, I worked closely with developers and local authorities to deliver sustainable drainage solutions for residential housing developments.

Outside of engineering

Outside of work, I enjoy participating in a range of sports, although I’m equally happy spending time with a good coffee and a book.
