For the past 12 years, I’ve molded my career in structural engineering through hard work, innovative thinking and a dedication to learning.
Starting as a graduate on international design projects, I have developed a strong foundation in technical design for large residential and commercial developments. Throughout my career so far, I have broadened my knowledge by working on a wide range of project sizes, sectors and with different types of organisations, including a six-month site secondment to a main contractor which gave me invaluable site experience.
In 2013, I started work at CampbellReith and one of my first roles was to manage our team of skilled engineers to successfully deliver the Wembley NW01 project – an £80m residential development of 430 apartments. In 2015, I achieved Chartership status with the IStructE and became the youngest employee ever to achieve Associate status at CampbellReith.
As well as securing and managing the next Wembley project – a £215m, 750 apartment development, I have been supporting our clients in the events industry, providing structural engineering services for major international events in Switzerland, Japan and also Brazil for the Rio Olympics in 2016.
Travel is a huge passion of mine and vital for me to maintain a healthy work life balance – keeping my mind fresh and creative. For my first 3-month sabbatical, I took the opportunity to travel around Asia.
Whilst I excel in, and am inspired by large residential developments, the events industry has satisfied my drive for variety, challenge and travel.
