I am a Chartered Civil Engineer and Fellow of the ICE, with over 20 years’ experience delivering complex infrastructure projects across the UK and internationally. From sports stadia & universities to new cities, in locations from Bristol to the KSA and Kuwait. My expertise spans a wide range of disciplines including highways, drainage, earthworks, waterways and utilities.
I previously worked for Buro Happold, most recently leading teams working locally on Bristol Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus, enabling a new university campus to emerge from a former derelict post office site and internationally on JIOM converting a former salination plant in Jeddah into a museum.
I live in north Devon, on the border of north Cornwall, where I enjoy walking, running and cani-crossing the coast paths and moors. With two sea pools close-by, I have tried sea-pool ‘dipping’ this summer, which is definitely a warm-weather activity!
Outside of engineering
In my spare time I volunteer with Girlguiding, currently running a Brownie and Guide unit, after completing six years as a Girlguiding Regional Board Trustee for the Southwest.
