I’ve been working as a Geotechnical Engineer for 12 years after graduating with a Masters in Civil Engineering from Imperial College, London, in 2010. I’m chartered with the ICE and a UK Registered Ground Engineering Professional.
I was drawn to the construction industry as I enjoy problem solving and seeing ideas become a reality.
I started my career at CampbellReith, working here for six years, progressing from a Graduate to a Senior Engineer, being fortunate enough to be involved in the UCLH Proton Beam Therapy and Ghana District Hospitals projects, visiting Ghana on several occasions.
In 2016 I joined CGL where I gained experience in Geotechnical Design and Temporary Works for basements across London and the South East, managing a team of Engineers and working closely with Main Contractors.
I moved to RPS in 2018 as a Principal Engineer where I worked on various projects across the UK, carrying out ground investigations and providing geotechnical analysis and design, collaborating with other disciplines within the company.
After a brief spell away from CampbellReith I have re-joined the London geotechnical team as an Associate.
I enjoy working in geotechnics as the ground at two sites is never the same, no two teams are ever the same and no two clients are ever the same – so it keeps you on your toes!
Outside of engineering
I recently became a mother to our son Jack, which means I have temporarily stopped playing football and practising karate, although I’m keen to return! I also support West Ham, COYI!
