Associate

After completing my Civil and Environmental degree at University College London, and my MSc in Structural Engineering at Imperial College London, I started my structural engineering journey with AKT II in 2008. I have managed to survive through many rounds of redundancies during the recession and contributed to many challenging, prestigious and award-winning projects during my 4.5 years there.

I moved on to eHRW in 2011 and worked on a wide range of refurbishment projects from a single storey extension, to complex multistorey buildings as well as a variety of new build developments, from concept to completion.

I had the opportunity to work abroad as a Project Manager in 2015, and spent two years gaining extensive site experience and valuable project management skills. This hugely assisted me to evolve structural designs to suit site constrains and buildability issues with cost effective solutions.

I joined CampbellReith as a Senior Structural Engineer in 2017 and have been involved in a variety of residential, educational, commercial and retail buildings. Whilst maintaining a broad interest in all aspects of the works stages, I have an interest in ensuring that critical structural decisions are made early in the design process and project target dates are met, to assist Clients with their aspirations and programmes.

Outside of engineering

Outside work, I love camping in very remote highlands where I can be away from my busy daily lifestyle, have long walks in the mountains, take rests near a waterfall or stream and enjoy nature.

I love spending time with my family and enjoy fun Taekwondo sessions with my kids. I always encourage them to pursue their Martial Arts skills and should not stop at only Dan 2 of black belt, as I did.

Reading books and learning new things is always a pleasure.
