Liz is a chartered geologist with over 20 years’ experience in site investigation and geotechnical engineering. She graduated from Leicester and Heriot-Watt Universities.
Liz joined CampbellReith in 1999 to set up the geotechnical division. She is now Partner, and manages the technical delivery of a team of engineering geologists and geotechnical engineers. Liz is responsible for the development of geotechnical services within the practice.
Liz is involved in geotechnical and geo-environmental projects in the UK, the Middle East and Africa.
A current major project in which she is involved is the Proton Beam Therapy Centre for University College London Hospital in Euston. It involves the construction of a 27 m deep basement. Liz is responsible for delivering CampbellReith’s geotechnical analyses and design input, including achieving regulator and stakeholder sign off.
Liz splits her time between London and Bristol and is a member of the south west branch of Women in Property. She is also a judge for the Ground Engineering Awards. These roles allow her to participate in recognising excellence and innovation in the industry and to mentor younger engineers and geologists.
In her spare time, Liz is a keen allotment gardener and walker.
