As she stated on her nomination presentation: “I am passionate about encouraging and supporting the young engineers of the future and encouraging more great minds into the industry.”

About her shortlist in the Best Woman Structural Engineer category, Hannah said: “I believe in supporting and encouraging women into the industry in particular, and it makes me very happy to say that throughout my years in engineering there seems to be a definite rise in women in Structural Engineering from when I started”.
