Opportunity
You will have an opportunity to gain experience across all sectors and all project stages from due diligence, feasibility through to construction. You will work on a range of project sizes from small to multi-phase developments.
We also encourage our team to actively take part in development of new and emerging guidance, contributing and collaborating with others such as CIRIA (Construction Industry Research and Information Association) to drive improvement in the built environment and construction sector.

Role
You must be able to take the lead on projects of varying size, by managing resources, health and safety risks and using technical and commercial knowledge to control risk to the practice. You will delegate workload, monitor delivery and train and develop other team members.
Key duties include:
- Project management including financial management, producing project management plans, appointment documents, and overseeing project team.
- Producing reports, calculations, specifications, drawings and Civils 3D models.
- Undertaking site visits, surveys, inspections and preparing reports.
- Mentoring and supporting development of the junior team members.
- Representing CampbellReith at Design/Project meetings.
Key skills
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Accredited degree in Civil Engineering (MEng, BEng or MSc) or equivalent.
- IEng with relevant experience appropriate, CEng or approaching CEng desirable.
- Experience within an engineering consultancy with people and project management skills commensurate with the role.
- All round civil engineering/ infrastructure including knowledge of flood risk assessment, drainage and highways desirable.
- Knowledge and experience of the principles and application of relevant regulations and guidance including Manual for Streets, DMRB, Sewers for Adoption, SUDS Manual.
- Experience of working directly with highways authorities, lead local flood authorities, sewerage undertakers and other external parties.
- A good level of proficiency using InfoDrainage and Autodesk Civils 3D desirable.
