Andrew Frost

Andrew has over 30 years’ experience of the design and construction monitoring of structural and building development works. He has specialised in the commercial, retail, hotel and student accommodation sectors working for both public and private sector clients.

 

Andrew is responsible for leading one of the structural design groups within CampbellReith’s London office to ensure the successful delivery of the designs on a variety of projects.

 

Andrew’s areas of expertise include maximising the potential of constrained city centre sites using innovative foundation solutions and deep basement construction techniques.

 

He has also worked on many historic building refurbishments and façade retention schemes and was a member of the CIRIA (Construction Industry Research and Information Association) steering group for the publication of the best practice guide on retention of masonry facades.

 

Recent projects include a £60m residential, education and sports complex for the City University in London and a £35m student accommodation development on the Mile End Road which required the foundations to bridge over several Underground tunnels.

 

Andrew has also been responsible for the design of over 60 Big Yellow self-storage warehouses over the last 10 years.

 

Andrew is a keen follower of motor sports, both as a spectator at events and regular participant in driving at various track days around the country including Silverstone and Brands Hatch.
