Neal is an Associate in CampbellReith’s Transportation team and has been a part of the group since 1997.
Neal has experience on a very wide variety of highway and transportation projects and his work has included the preparation of Transport Assessments and Travel Plan documents for a variety of clients in London, across the UK and overseas.
He has worked on numerous housing schemes and commercial developments and is experienced in the design of traffic signals, roundabouts and priority junctions for numerous projects using a variety of computer programs including JUNCTIONS (ARCADY / PICADY), TRANSYT and LINSIG. He is also experienced in the creation and analysis of several town centre and large-area microsimulation models using S-Paramics.
Neal has worked on highway solutions for several regeneration and town centre improvement schemes. These studies have benefited from his experience in providing for the needs of people travelling by all modes of transport including walking, cycling, bus, underground, overground, light rail, taxi and private car. His duties have involved the development and design of dedicated pedestrian and cycle facilities on several projects.
He has also worked on a variety of environmental enhancement schemes comprising traffic calming measures and parking studies and has prepared public transport assessments and walking and cycling audits to assess the accessibility and quality of various development schemes. Neal has also conducted a range of independent safety audits for highway proposals and has given evidence at Public Inquiry.
