With over ten years in the industry, I specialise in ground engineering, with experience in the design and remediation of highways and earthworks.
Before joining CampbellReith my previous role involved the design and remediation of Highways England and local government highways assets and I was heavily involved in liaising with clients, designing, procuring and supervising ground investigations and undertaking the subsequent interpretive and design work.
I lead the geotechnical work in the north of England but also work closely with the rest of the geotechnical team in the south working on multidisciplinary projects including retaining wall and earthwork design, residential and retail developments as well as the remediation of historical mining areas and contaminated land.
I’ve always been fascinated by the dynamic nature of the earth and the origins and evolution of the physical world around us and I find being able to combine that with developing engineering solutions to improve infrastructure and revitalise otherwise abandoned areas is a very satisfying thing to do.
I began work at CamplbellReith in November 2020 as a senior engineer and so far I’ve really enjoyed the diversity of the work I’ve been involved in.
Outside of engineering
When I’m not working I love to draw or paint or lose myself in a good film or book. Or on the rare occasion the weather is good in the north I enjoy exploring the countryside on by foot or by car.
