I am passionate about structures and I have been involved in structural design since graduating in 2008. Since I moved to London in 2015, I have been involved in all stage designs for residential schemes with sizes between 20 to 700units. From planning application scheme design to detailed construction design of RC frames, I was part of project team with various levels of responsibility. I was always keen to refine work from the graduate level to the project engineer leading role.
I’ve always been fascinated by complex geometry, math, algorithms and that helped me to understand the insight of structures. From the simple stage of mixing water, cement and aggregate to the level of node rigidity, strut and tie and load path I’ve been fascinated by the possible outcome of a structure as a work of art or a structure as absolutely necessary ways to create habitable areas in the most naturally endangered locations.
Outside of engineering:
I am passionate about mountaineering, geography and I am a master on baking traditional sweet bread with walnuts. I am a beginner with tennis and looking to improve with skiing.
