With an MSc in Mining Geology, I have spent the past 6 years working as a Geotechnical Engineer in the UK and 3 years before then as a Mining Geologist across Australia and Greenland.
I have developed a wide ranged knowledge and understanding of geological and geotechnical hazards and their impact on the built world. I provide guidance and technical support to team members across the practice and personally like to get stuck in with hands-on resolutions of technical issues for our Clients.
At CampbellReith we focus on effective communication across multi disciplinary teams for both our clients and the contractors and design teams we work with.
I provide sustainable and practical solutions to geotechnical problems. Undertake and ensure safe and efficient geological and geotechnical data capture for modelling and analysis. Routinely prepare designs, specifications, reports and project documentation in line with client requirements and in accordance with national standards and codes of practice.
I have a strong mix of practical field and design experience across earthworks, foundation design, basements, slope stability, relic mining hazards, ground movement assessments. I have a particular interest in 3D geotechnical modelling, as well as design software for commercial, residential developers on structures from buildings, basements, bridges, working platforms and landfill sites.
