In the millennium year, I started out as a graduate civil engineer and I haven’t looked back since.

I was initially drawn to the industry as I have a passion for problem solving, teamwork and developing others, and when you enjoy what you do, it does not feel like work!

Before joining CampbellReith in 2020, I was a team leader for Opus International (HQ in New Zealand), now part of WSP. Throughout the 16 years with Opus, I worked across a diverse range of sectors providing infrastructure and civil engineering design for the public and private sectors – health, education, residential and highways.

One of my main specialisms is in surface water drainage and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDs), a skill which is embedded throughout our civil engineering team. One of my most significant projects has been Electrolux site in Durham – a 43.5 acre site to deliver 400+ homes and commercial use for Homes England.

Outside of engineering

When the weather permits, I love playing golf. I also enjoy watching films and sport.
