I am doing an integrated master’s degree in Civil and Structural Engineering at the University of Bath. For my placement year, I am working with the structural engineering team in CampbellReith’s Bristol office.

This year I will be undertaking a range of aspects of structural engineering design and analysis. I am excited for my knowledge to develop in the year ahead, working closely with and learning from the rest of the team and applying my skills to the real world.

My interest in engineering stems from a fascination for how things work, envisioning many possibilities for a solution to a problem. With civil and structural engineering, I can involve myself in world problems that I feel passionate about such as the climate crisis, ageing infrastructure, disaster relief, etc. In this field, I can apply my creativity and technical knowledge to the built environment and solve these world problems.

Outside of engineering

Outside of engineering, I compete in cheer and dance. I also love gymnastics, netball and martial arts. My more relaxing hobbies include painting, crafting, fashion design and making music (Fun fact – I can play 5 instruments).
