David Innes

David is a Senior Partner at CampbellReith. He has been with the Practice since 1986.


David was the Partner responsible for CampbellReith gaining a place on the HCA’s 2010 to 2014 Engineering Framework and has worked on a wide variety of both large and small regeneration projects including Woolston Riverside in Southampton, Chatham Maritime and the Margate Rendezvous Hotel site in Kent and the East Cowes regeneration on the Isle of Wight as well as the remediation of Tipner in Portsmouth and Flood risk studies on the South Coast.


Subsequently David led the formation of a Multi-disciplinary Joint Venture with leading Master-planner Tibbalds Urban Design and Planning tendering and winning a coveted place on the HCA’s 2014 to 2018 Multi-disciplinary national framework and again in 2019. One of only two SME’s successful in gaining a place on this important procurement vehicle for public sector and quasi public sector work. Projects have already been tendered and won including the Manydown Urban Extension in Hampshire,  Due diligence studies in Essex and Lancashire and a major mixed use residential scheme for Genesis housing in Hendon.


David’s current International work includes the Hilton Cape Sierra hotel in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Previously he has worked in the UAE, Malaysia, Libya, Antigua, Kenya, Nigeria, Qatar and Oman.


David is a visiting professor at the University of Surrey where he mentors MEng students in their final year projects.
