Meet the team

Barish Turan

Associate

My career at CampbellReith started in in 2014 when I joined as a Senior Civil Engineer – I then became an Associate in 2016.

I am a multi-disciplinary civil engineer with over 23 years’ experience, and have extensive knowledge of project management, design and supervision of both infrastructure and regeneration projects. I lead a team of engineers and my role at CampbellReith involves designing for complex regeneration and residential projects in the north of England – from site acquisition to identifying the technical constraints and solutions.

As the lead on many public and private sector projects, I have extensive understanding of procurement processes and contractual arrangements such as Section 106 & Section 278, and estate road negotiations including Section 38 and Section 104. This is invaluable to our clients, particularly bodies like Homes England (formerly HCA), English Partnerships, and Manchester Airport Group (MAG).

It is a real pleasure to work with a team of talented engineers. Together I believe we make a real difference to the UK’s regeneration schemes.

Outside of engineering

Away from work I spend as much time as possible with my wife, our two young children and friends. I am a keen 5 a-side player and enjoy taking part when I can.
