Formed in 2005, NHS Blood and Transplant operates as a Special Health Authority across the UK. It is responsible for optimising the supply of blood, organs, plasma and tissues, as well as raising the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of blood and transplant services.
Under a framework agreement with NHS Blood and Transplant, CampbellReith provided structural engineering design, report and advisory services for minor works projects with a project value of up to £1m.
This framework agreement covers all regions of the UK: London and the South East, North, Midlands and South West. Projects typically involve fit out works and structural adaptations to existing facilities. To date, these have included projects as far apart as Truro, Birmingham and Collingdale.
