John Hudd

John has over 40 years’ experience in designing and managing structural & civil engineering projects. He joined CampbellReith in 2008. Before that, he had worked for Bunyan Meyer & Partners as Director, having held a similar position with the design consultancy of Costain Building & Civil Engineering for 20 years.

 

John received the Institution of Structural Engineers Francis Memorial Prize for his Higher National Certificate and subsequently received the British Constructional Steelwork Association’s prize for Steelwork Design.

 

Having worked for consulting engineers, project management designers and an international contractor, John has gained considerable and valuable experience in both the design and construction of building projects. He is responsible for the business development, design, project management and client liaison for CampbellReith’s South West Regional Office in Bristol.

 

John has been responsible for the design and management of major production and pharmaceutical buildings, breweries, bottling plants, office blocks, schools, industrial buildings, residential, hotels, superstores, student accommodation and grandstands. Recent major projects are large office blocks in Lombard Street and Chancery Lane, London.

 

John is a Trustee of a Bristol based grant-making charitable trust. In his free time he enjoys playing golf, squash and visiting historical cities.
