We are looking for a Graduate Transport Engineer to join our Highways and Transportation team in our office in Redhill, Surrey. This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic graduate to work with a team of experienced engineers to support our increasing work load.

Role

We have forthcoming opportunities with our Highways & Transport team to contribute to the design of transport planning, transport strategies or road safety audits, among others. Working as part of a team and reporting to a senior staff member, you will work on a variety of projects. This is an excellent opportunity to work within an award winning multi-disciplinary practice focused on innovation and client delivery.

  • Conversant with highway layouts and design (horizontal and vertical alignment)
  • Junction capacity analysis (Junction 8; LinSig 3)
  • Conversant with real time micro simulation (Paramics)
  • Road collision data analysis
  • Travel Planning
  • Drafting of Transport Assessments and Statements
  • Parking surveys
  • Masterplanning
  • Parking layouts
  • Public Transport strategies (Bus and Rail)
  • Competent in using AutoCad
  • Communicating with clients, local authority officers, the public and other engineers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Applicant should preferably be an Associate member of CIHT or ICE.
