Barish Turan

Barish is an Associate at CampbellReith’s Manchester office responsible for the day to day management and delivery of numerous projects by civil and environmental teams.

 

As a civil engineer, Barish has extensive experience in project management, design and supervision of infrastructure works. He has worked in a variety of sectors ranging from residential to regeneration, aviation to nuclear and infrastructure. He has been involved in a number of multi-disciplinary business and retail park development schemes and managed a number of site enabling, demolition schemes by coordinating input from a range of specialist design teams.

 

During his time with CampbellReith he has worked primarily in planning & development. Barish has a particular understanding of working in developer’s teams; his involvement includes technical support before and during planning application process, providing due diligence advice regarding highways and infrastructure related issues.

 

Barish is always keen to promote civil engineering both in the UK and overseas and has hosted ‘Engineering Your Future’ workshops on behalf of the ICE (Institute of Civil Engineering).

 

Having retired from playing football, Barish now spends what free time he has with his family, discovering the joys of being a swimming coach and taking mountain walks with his son and wife. He also has a great passion for cooking, finding it both rewarding and relaxing.
