CampbellReith was asked to redevelop 3-4 Picton Place, a 1930s school to be converted into residential accommodation.
Located in the City of Westminster and Stratford Place Conservation areas, the redbrick Ebuilding consisted of basement, ground and three upper floors.
The project included redevelopment of the existing reinforced concrete frame building to include 1, 2 and 3 bed flats. A fourth upper floor extension to be built will be a 3 bed penthouse flat with stunning panoramic views over the West End.
Sustainability was a high priority and the completed project achieved an ECO Homes “Very Good” rating in part by improving internal circulation with a new lift and staircase.
